MUNKO KNIVES

Paul Munko is an artist, graphic designer, and lifelong knife enthusiast whose passion for blades began in childhood, inspired by his father’s collection of pocket knives. After rekindling his interest later in life, Paul immersed himself in the knife community, collaborating with brands and creating artwork under his art name, Colorfulfilth. His art-based modification projects with Northern Knives have allowed him to connect with the community in a unique way, crafting narratives and stories around his illustrations that make each piece truly unique.

Paul’s knife designs, including his debut The Comet, showcase his commitment to creating visually striking pieces with a distinct design language. His goal is to balance aesthetics with ergonomics and usability, ensuring that his designs are not only visually striking but also practical and functional. Through his work with manufacturers like  Bestech, Kizer, and Kansept, Paul continues to bring unique, innovative designs to the knife community while building friendships with makers and enthusiasts along the way.
